A civic platform, not a campaign tool

Pair every politician on your ballot with what you actually believe — by what they did, not what they said.

Votr scores alignment from empirical actions: roll-call votes, sponsorships, committee behavior. Rhetoric stays out of the scoring.

How alignment works

1

Tell us what matters

Pick the topics you care about and rank their importance. 90 seconds, all on your device.

2

We score every politician on your ballot

Every roll-call vote, sponsorship, and committee action contributes to a per-topic alignment score. No editorial weighting.

3

See the match — not the spin

Politicians sort by alignment with your beliefs, scored against the actions they took on the bills you care about.

Why Votr is different

Empirical first

Recorded actions come first: roll-call votes, then sponsorships and other on-the-record acts. Press releases, ads, and campaign promises always rank below what a politician actually did.

Our receipts, in the open

Every match score has a per-bill receipt you can audit, and the methodology is published. The engine’s weights are a trade secret held in escrow, so the score can’t be gamed.

Privacy by impossibility

Your matches are computed on your device. Without an account, your profile never leaves it. With one, it syncs encrypted — and with a passphrase, only you can read it.

No party scoring

Votr does not weight politicians by party. A 70% match on the other side is a 70% match, full stop.
